An additional two individuals are now in custody related to a theft at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people sustained injuries by a substance believed to be pepper spray, according to law enforcement.
A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. They both remain in custody, the force said.
These detentions come after a probe into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the incident, two women had stolen from them their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.
A three-year-old girl was among the injured in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and have since been released.
Officers arrested a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault near the location. He has since been released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.
Police were alerted at about 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of a number of people hurt by a noxious substance believed to be an irritant spray.
The attack - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as an act of terror - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
